Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) conduct counseling for B.Pharm/ Pharm.D/ Pharm. D (Post Baccalaureate)/ M.Pharm admission 2025-26

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) is a state-level entrance examination conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Government of Maharashtra, for admission to various undergraduate & Postgraduate professional courses in colleges across the state. It is a highly competitive exam that assesses candidates’ knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology, depending on the chosen stream, and serves as the primary gateway for securing seats in reputed government, aided, and private institutions. Designed to ensure a fair and transparent admission process, MHT-CET plays a crucial role in shaping the academic and professional futures of thousands of students every year.

B.Pharma (04 years duration)The candidate should be a citizen of India. The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent examination with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology as optional subjects individually: “Provided that, the students possessing 10+2 qualification from non-formal and non-class rooms based schooling such as National Institute of Open Schooling, open school systems of States etc. shall not be eligible for admission to B.Pharm Course” or Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations and The candidate should have appeared in all the subjects and should obtain non zero score in MHT-CET 2025 conducted by the Competent Authority.The candidate should be a citizen of India. The candidate shall have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent examination with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology as optional subjects individually: Provided that, the students possessing 10+2 qualification from non-formal and non-class rooms based schooling such as National Institute of Open Schooling, open school systems of States etc. shall not be eligible for admission to B.Pharm Course or Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations and The candidate should obtain non zero positive score in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT-CET 2025 and should obtain non zero score in MHT-CET 2025 conducted by the Competent Authority; Provided that, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non zero positive score in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) over the candidates who obtained non zero score in MHT-CET 2025.The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent examination conducted by the respective State or Central Government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology as optional subjects individually: Provided that, the students possessing 10+2 qualification from non-formal and non-class rooms based schooling such as National Institute of Open Schooling, open school systems of States etc. shall not be eligible for admission to B.Pharm Course; and Any other eligibility criteria and requirement declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.
Pharm.D (06 years duration)The candidate should be a citizen of India. The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics or Biology subject or The candidate should have passed Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharmacy) course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act or Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examination. The candidate should have appeared in all the subjects and obtained non zero score in the MHT-CET 2025 conducted by the Competent Authority. The candidate should be a citizen of India. The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics or Biology subject or The candidate should have passed Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharmacy) course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act or Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations; and The candidate should have obtained non zero positive score in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT-CET 2025 and should obtain non zero score in MHT-CET 2025. Online Registration for Admission: The candidates should apply online on www.mahacet.org as per the schedule. Candidates who have registered for MAH-MHT-CET 2025 are not required to pay any fees for registration for admission. However, candidates who have obtained a score valid for admission in academic year 2025-26 in NEET and have not registered for MAH-MHT-CET 2025 are required to pay fees as mentioned below only through Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking / UPI. Fees paid are non-refundable. (No other mode of payment shall be permitted.)

Admission Process:-

  • Online registration of application and uploading of required documents by the Candidate for admission on website (For Maharashtra State/All India candidates).
  • Documents verification and confirmation of Application Form for Admission by online mode. By Maharashtra State/All India Candidates shall fill online application form and upload the required documents from any computer connected to internet from anywhere. Process for E-Scrutiny Mode selected candidates: 1. Such candidate shall fill online application form and scan original document and upload the required documents from any computer/smartphone connected to internet from anywhere. 2. Such candidate need not have to visit to FC for verification and confirmation of the application form. His/her application & documents shall be verified and confirmed by the FC through e-Scrutiny Mode. 3. During e-Scrutiny of Application Form of such candidate: If no error is found: the status of verification & confirmation of the application form shall be available in candidate’s Login along with receipt cum Acknowledgement. If error is found: the details of errors shall be intimated to candidates by reverting back his/her Application for its rectification through candidate’s Login. Candidate shall edit the reverted Application form and re-submit the application for e-Scrutiny through his/her login. Process for Physical Scrutiny Mode selected Candidates. Such candidate shall visit the facilitation Center online selected by himself/herself, along with the required documents as per the allotted time slot for online filling, scanning & uploading of required documents, verification and confirmation of application form. After verification & Confirmation of application form, FC shall issue the receipt cum Acknowledgement.
    Note: Applications registered after 14th July 2025 shall be considered only for Non-CAP Seats. Applications confirmed by Scrutiny Center/Facilitation Center after 15th July 2025 shall be considered only for Non-CAP Seats.
  • Display of the provisional merit list for Maharashtra State/All India Candidates on website.
  • Submission of grievances if any, for all type of Candidates: Candidate shall raise the Grievance about correction required in the data displayed in provisional merit list through his/her Login. The application of such candidates shall be reverted back to the candidate in his/her Login for rectification. Candidate shall upload the requisite documents to substantiate the claim for any correction/concession. The status of acceptance/rejection of Grievance raised by candidate shall be available in candidate’s login along with latest receipt cum Acknowledgement. Those Candidates who selected physical scrutiny mode shall visit FC for resolving the grievances.
  • Display of the Final Merit lists of Maharashtra State/All India Candidates on website.

Important Note: All types of candidates aspiring for admission under CAP seats shall register himself/herself online, Scan and upload Documents, solve grievances (Depends on document verification mode selected by candidate) raised by Scrutiny Center (SC) in person or raised by E-Scrutiny Center during E-Verification verified documents & Application Form confirmed by E-Scrutiny Center. Such eligible registered candidates shall be considered for CAP Merit and admission through CAP. The candidates aspiring for admission for Institutional Quota, seats remaining vacant after CAP, it is Mandatory to get registered, documents verified and confirmation of application by the Scrutiny Center. After registration, such candidates must apply separately to Institutes for admissions to seats other than CAP Seats (Non-CAP Seats). Merit of such candidates shall be prepared by the Institute at the institute level.

M. Pharm (2 years duration)The candidate should be a citizen of India. The candidate should have passed Bachelor’s in Pharmacy Degree examination of an Indian university established by law in India from an institution approved by Pharmacy Council of India and has scored not less than fifty five per cent of the maximum marks (aggregate of 4 years of B.Pharm.) (at least fifty per cent marks in case of Reserved category, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability Candidates belonging to the Maharashtra State only). Obtained non zero positive score in Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) conducted by National Testing Agency. For sponsored candidates, minimum of two years of full-time work experience in a registered firm or company or industry or educational or research institute or any Government Department or Government Autonomous Organization in the relevant field in which admission is being sought.The candidate should have passed Bachelor’s in Pharmacy Degree of an Indian university established by law in India and from an institution approved by Pharmacy Council of India and has scored not less than fifty five per cent of the maximum marks (aggregate of four years of B.Pharm.) or Approved by Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Any other eligibility criteria or requirement declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.
Pharm. D (03 years duration) (Post Baccalaureate)The candidate should be a citizen of India. The candidate should have passed Bachelor of Pharmacy from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act. The candidate should have obtained non zero positive score in Graduates Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) conducted by National Testing Agency. For sponsored candidates, minimum of two years of full time work experience in a registered firm or company or industry or educational and or research institute or any Government Department or Government Autonomous Organization in the relevant field in which admission is being sought. Online Registration for Admission: Candidates who have appeared in GPAT and obtained a non-zero positive score valid for AY 2025-26 (as mentioned on the scorecard) are eligible for admission through CAP. The candidates must apply online at www.mahacet.org as per the schedule. Candidates are required to pay the application fee as given below only through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI in online mode. The fee is non-refundable. (No other mode of payment shall be permitted.)
