Jyothishmathi group of Educational Institutions, Karimnagar were established in the year 1997 with an intension of providing quality education in the disciplines of Engineering, Pharmacy and Education to the rural people. Ours is the first engineering college in the Karimnagar district. Jyothishmathi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences has established in the year 2007, The Institution is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad and is recognized by Government of TelanganaState and approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The Institution is now offering Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm- 4 years course), Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D- 6 years course).

B. Pharm 4 years	UG	Candidate shall have passed 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects individually. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.
B. Pharm lateral entry	UG	The minimum qualification for admission into second year of the B. Pharm course (Lateral Entry) is a pass in D. Pharm. course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act
Pharm. D 6 years	UG	A pass in 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Mathematics or Biology. A pass in D. Pharm course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy council of India under section 12 of The Pharmacy Act.
M. Pharm 2 years	PG	The candidate should have passed B. Pharm degree examination PCI recognized University with 50% (45% in case of SC/ST/ OBC candidates) aggregate marks. Selected candidate for admission to post graduate pharmacy program in any PCI approved institutions should have obtained registration with the State Pharmacy Council or should obtain the same within one month from the date of his/her admission It is mandatory to submit a migration certificate obtained from the respective University where the candidate had passed his/her qualifying degree (B. Pharm) The candidate gets a chance to select the specializations like Pharmaceutical Analysis & Quality Assurance, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmacognosy, Industrial Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Technology, a and Biopharmaceutics, Drug Regulatory Affairs, Bulk Drugs, Medicinal Natural Products, Pharmaceutical Administration, Medicinal Chemistry, Drug Discovery and Development, Pharmaceutical Marketing Management, Phytopharmaceuticals, and Natural products, Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry as per the availability in the applying college.
