Sri Jayadev College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (SJCPS), one of the pioneer pharmacy institute of Odisha, was established in the year 1983. It is named after the Odisha-born poet, the great devotee of Lord Sri Jagannath and an epoch making stalwart of Sanskrit literature, SRI JAYADEVA who wrote "GITA GOVINDA". This college is situated in Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha . The college is about 8 kms away from Railway Station & 1.8 kms from the bus stop, Hansapal on the National Highway No-5. Our Campus has its scenic beauty with full of greenery. Its peaceful surrounding encourages the students to build up themselves with proper knowledge and moral values.The college is approved by the statuatory bodies of Govt. of India like All India Council for Technical Education ( A.I.C.T.E), Pharmacy Council of India (P.C.I.) , University Grants commission ( U.G.C) & Govt. of Orissa.The B.Pharm & M.Pharm courses of this college are affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology ( B.P.U.T) , Rourkela.

Diploma wing of sri jayadev college of pharmaceutical sciences is closed. Now college only provides B.pharm and M.pharm courses.

B. PHARM //LATERAL ADMISSION B. PHARM /M PHARM :-

COURSE

ELIGIBILITY

B. Pharm.

Passed in 10+2 Science with Physics, Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics/ Biology subjects).

Students possessing 10+2 qualification from non-formal and non-class rooms-based schooling such as national institute of open schooling, open school systems of states etc. shall not be eligible for admission to B.Pharm course.

Admission conducted by OJEE, Odisha through OJEE / JEE(Main) / NEET examination.

M. Pharm

Passed in B.Pharm with at least 55% marks in aggregate (50% in case of SC & ST) from any recognised university.

Admission conducted by OJEE, Odisha through GATE/PGAT/GPAT examination.
