B. Pharmacy eligibility for admission: Candidate shall have passed 10+2 examination conducted by the respective State. Central Government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities, AIU, with English as one of the subjects and Physics, (PCB,PCMB) as optional subjects individually. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations. Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) and or Biology.

Reservation of seats in B. Pharmacy / D. Pharmacy courses for J&K Migrants Seats: One seat per approved intake capacity in all autonomous pharmacy colleges, government/autonomous polytechnic colleges, grant-in-aid non-government institutions, and self-financed (university) institutions shall be reserved for the sons and daughters of Kashmiri displaced families. Candidates applying under this category must submit a certificate in the prescribed Format-7, issued by a competent authority of the Jammu and Kashmir administration. Additionally, the sons and daughters of officers and employees of the Madhya Pradesh Government who were posted in Jammu and Kashmir for anti-terrorism operations and have passed the qualifying examination from the state of Jammu and Kashmir will also be eligible under this reservation. These candidates must submit a certificate in the prescribed Format-8. Furthermore, one seat in each institution offering the B. Pharmacy course among autonomous, aided non-government colleges, and autonomous/self-financed (university) institutions, as designated by the Government of Madhya Pradesh shall be reserved for residents of the state of Jammu and Kashmir, from the pool of All India seats.
Mode of Admission:
The counselling process will be conducted by preparing the merit list on the basis of the marks obtained in the qualifying examination-
1. Admission Procedure of Online Off campus Counselling: If the State Government opts to conduct online off-campus counselling for a particular course, the competent authority designated by the State Government will finalize the detailed schedule and publish it on the official website, along with the complete admission process and relevant cut-off dates. The admission procedure for online off-campus counselling will be conducted in accordance with the Admission Rules, 2008, as published in the Madhya Pradesh Gazette and amended from time to time.
2. Procedure for admission against NRI seats:-Admission to all institutions in which 5% of the seats of the intake capacity will be permitted by the Pharmacy Council of India for admission to NRI candidates will be done as per the rules related to admission of NRI candidates published in the Madhya Pradesh Gazette, "Admission Regulations, 2011" dated 19th May, 2011.
3. Conversion of vacant seats of NRI to NRI:- The vacant seats for Indians, as well as the unfilled seats for Non-Resident Indians, shall be merged by the competent authority with the seats for the natives of Madhya Pradesh and these seats shall be filled by the competent authority as per the admission procedure for the seats for the natives of Madhya Pradesh.
Selection method for admission:
General information about the admission process: Admission to B. Pharma and D. Pharma courses under Madhya Pradesh domicile seats, All India seats, seats for displaced persons from Jammu and Kashmir, and Jammu and Kashmir domicile seats will be conducted strictly based on merit lists. All admissions will take place through a centralized counseling process. The counseling schedule will be published in leading newspapers, and the detailed timetable will be available on the official website of the competent authority/Directorate of Technical Education at https://dte.mponline.gov.in. No separate call letters will be issued to candidates for counseling.
Original Certificate: Candidates must present their original certificates for verification during the counseling process, after which the documents will be returned. Apart from the Transfer Certificate (TC) and Migration Certificate, no other original documents are required to be submitted to the admitting institution. In Centralized or Institution Level Counseling (CLC) conducted through the Counseling Portal, candidates must deposit the prescribed fee—as determined by the Government or the Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee (AFRC)—and submit their original TC and Migration Certificate to the allotted institution upon seat allotment. If a candidate chooses to deposit any fees or submit original documents to any institution or individual outside the official counseling process, they shall do so at their own risk and responsibility. Transfers between institutions will not be allowed in the first year of the course, and admissions to the first year will not be permitted after the official last date.

M. Pharmacy eligibility for admission:- As per the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) notification dated 12th March 2020, the minimum qualification for admission to the M. Pharm programme is a B. Pharm degree from an Indian university established by law and approved by the PCI, with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks over four years. For candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST), the minimum required marks are 50% in aggregate. Additionally, every student admitted to a postgraduate pharmacy course in any institution across the country must be registered with the respective State Pharmacy Council or must obtain such registration within one month from the date of admission. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of admission. It is the sole responsibility of the Director/Principal of the institution to ensure strict compliance with the PCI notification regarding M. Pharm admissions. The Candidates should be an Indian National.

Procedure of Admission :
Admission Procedure of Online Off Campus Counselling: The competent authority declared by the State Government for online off campus counseling, shall finalize the detailed programme and shall make it available on its website declaring its procedure, process of admission and deferent cut off dates.
General Information of admission: The counseling schedule will be published in various newspapers and will also be available on the official website of the competent authority/Commissioner, Technical Education, Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal at https://dte.mponline.gov.in. No separate call letters will be issued to candidates for counseling. Additionally, transfer of institution after admission during the course will not be permitted.
Original Documents: During the counseling process, candidates will have to produce their original certificates for verification, after verification their original certificates will be returned by the Institution. Candidates must not deposit any other original certificates except TC and migration in the admitted institution.
Note: - In Centralized/Institution Level Counseling (CLC) through the Counseling Portal, after allotment of the Institute/Course, the candidate has to pay the fee prescribed by the Govt./Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee (AFRC) and the original TC/Migration to be deposited in the allotted institute. Apart from this, if the candidate deposits any fee or submits/surrenders his/her original documents to any institution or person for obtaining admission through any means, then the candidate himself will be responsible for the same.

Domicile Requirements: A citizen of India seeking admission to educational institutions in Madhya Pradesh must submit a local resident certificate in the prescribed Form 6 (Annexure-4), as mandated by the Government of Madhya Pradesh under Letter No. C-3-7-2013-3-1 dated June 29, 2013, issued by the General Administration Department, Ministry, Bhopal. This certificate must be issued by a competent authority, specifically the Deputy Tehsildar or Tehsildar.
