
Hindu College of Pharmacy (HCP), one of the pioneers Institute in Pharmacy Education in the Haryana was established in year 1978 by “The Sonepat Hindu Educational and Charitable Society” with the vision to provide quality pharmacy education to students. It started as Diploma in Pharmacy in Haryana for providing the education under the State Board of Technical Education, Panchkula Haryana. The college is approved by AICTE and PCI new Delhi. Later in the year 1995 the institute started Bachelor of Pharmacy under affiliation from Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Science and in the year 2007, the institute started Master of Pharmacy programs. Currently, Bachelor of Pharmacy and Master of Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics) are affiliated to Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Near Panchayat Bhawan.

The Admission Brochure provides detailed information for admission to the B.Pharmacy and B.Pharmacy (Lateral Entry) courses for the academic year 2025–26. The contents of the brochure are subject to change without prior notice; therefore, candidates are advised to regularly visit the HSTES website for the latest updates. Admissions to B.Pharmacy and B.Pharmacy (Lateral Entry), including candidates applying under the Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) scheme and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category, will be based on the rank obtained in the Online Common Entrance Test (OCET) – 2025, conducted by the Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES). The admission process will be carried out through online off-campus counselling on the official website www.techadmissionshry.gov.in for all categories. Two rounds of online off-campus counselling will be conducted for admission to the B.Pharmacy course.
B. Pharm:
Eligibility Criteria:- Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination conducted by the respective State or Central Government authorities, or any examination recognized as equivalent to 10+2 by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The candidate must have studied English as one of the subjects along with Physics and Chemistry, and Mathematics and/or Biology (PCM/PCB/PCBM) as optional subjects individually. Candidates possessing any other qualification recognized as equivalent by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) are also eligible. Admission to the B.Pharmacy course in the State of Haryana for the academic session 2025–26 shall be made on the basis of the inter-se merit rank obtained in the Online Common Entrance Test (OCET) – 2025, conducted by the Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES). This admission process is carried out in accordance with the directions of the Hon’ble High Court in CWP No. 17767 of 2019 titled “B.S. Anangpuria Institute of Pharmacy vs. Pt. B.D. Sharma University and Others”, and will apply to all Government, Self-Financing, Minority Institutions, State University Departments, Deemed-to-be University Departments, and Private University Departments located in the State of Haryana.

Registration: Candidates are required to complete seven stages of registration on the official website www.techadmissionshry.gov.in. These stages include filling the application form, providing other required details, uploading a photograph and signature, entering marks of the qualifying examination, confirming the entered details, uploading the necessary documents in PDF format, and paying the applicable application fee. During registration, candidates must create a password for future logins and are advised to keep it confidential for their personal use only. If the password is shared with others, the candidate will be solely responsible for any changes made to registration details or choices. The one-time Registration-cum-Application fee must be paid online through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI using the available online payment gateway while submitting the application form.

GENERAL INFORMATION: This Admission Brochure provides information regarding admission to B.Pharmacy and B.Pharmacy (Lateral Entry) courses for the Academic Year 2025–26 only. The details contained in this brochure are intended solely for guidance to applicants during the admission process. However, nothing stated in this brochure should be interpreted as granting official approval or considered as an authoritative reference, as the rules, regulations, and provisions prescribed by the concerned University shall prevail in all matters related to admission and academic requirements.
PROCEDURE FOR CHOICE FILLING FOR ONLINE CENTRALISED COUNSELING:
1st Counseling :- shall be done for all categories namely AIC, HOGC, SC, SC-D, BC-A, BC-B, PH, ESM (with all priorities) and FF of all categories with 25% Horizontal Female reservation.
2nd Counseling:- shall be done for all categories namely AIC, HOGC, SC (by merging SC and SC-D in SC), BC (by merging BCA and BCB in BC), PH, ESM (by merging all priorities) and FF with 25% Horizontal Female reservation.
Procedure for Applying Online: The applications for appearing in OCET-2025 for admission to B.Pharmacy and B.Pharmacy (Lateral Entry) Courses shall be invited online at www.techadmissionshry.gov.in as per “Key Dates” given in Appendix-K & L. There is no printed application form available/ accepted. Candidate seeking admission in B.Pharmacy/ B.Pharmacy (Lateral Entry) has to fill online Application Form on the website www.techadmissionshry.gov.in. In addition to filling of application form, candidate has to upload his/her photo, signature, proofs of Date of Birth & Matriculation certificate etc.

REPORTING OF THE SELECTED CANDIDATE TO THE ALLOTED INSTITUTE: Candidates must download their Provisional Allotment Letter from the official website https://techadmissionshry.gov.in after the seat allotment result is declared. If the candidate is satisfied with the allotted seat, they must report physically to the allotted institute within the specified reporting period as per the official key dates. During reporting, candidates are required to complete admission formalities by depositing the admission/tuition fee either online or offline, after which the institute will verify the documents uploaded by the candidate during the online centralized counselling process. If all documents are found correct, the institute will issue a system-generated Provisional Admission Slip confirming the admission. In case any document is missing or incorrect, the institute will issue a deficiency message and the candidate must submit the corrected documents within the reporting period. Once the documents are verified successfully, the provisional admission slip will be generated. Candidates who fail to report to the allotted institute within the reporting period will have their allotted seat automatically cancelled, although they may participate in subsequent counselling rounds by submitting fresh choices. If a candidate is allotted a new seat in a later counselling round, the previously allotted seat will automatically stand cancelled and the candidate must report to the newly allotted institute; failure to do so will result in cancellation of the new seat as well. The concerned institute authorities are responsible for verifying the authenticity of the candidate’s documents and confirming the admission before issuing the provisional admission slip.

D. Pharm
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination (PCM/PCB) from the Board of School Education, Haryana, or from any other recognized board or university, subject to any modifications made by the State Government. Candidates who have passed a recognized examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics are also eligible. Such qualifications may include the Intermediate Examination in Science, the first year of a three-year degree course in Science, or the regular 10+2 examination in the Science academic stream. Additionally, candidates who have completed the 12-year Higher Secondary Education Board Examination (Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) from the Higher Secondary Education Board, Nepal, are also eligible. Any other qualification recognized as equivalent by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) will also be considered acceptable for admission.

Instructions for Registration and Choice Filling: Before applying online, candidates should carefully read the Diploma Prospectus–2025 available on the official HSTES website. After paying the registration fee, they must complete the choice filling process within the specified “Key Dates.” All details entered in the application form (except those automatically fetched through the PPP ID for Haryana residents) must exactly match the information in the qualifying examination certificates. Haryana candidates are required to enter their PPP ID during registration, as their personal details—such as name, parents’ names, and date of birth—will be verified through the PPP database. Any mismatch must be corrected in the PPP ID before submitting the form or updated at a designated center within the given deadline, failing which admission may be cancelled. Candidates should carefully select their course and applicable special categories (such as HGST, KM, MAR, SDB, TFW, or EWS) during registration, as these cannot be added later. They must also save their unique application number and keep a copy of the application form for future reference. All information should be entered accurately, as corrections are allowed only before final submission or within the prescribed timeline. Applicants are required to upload scanned images of their photograph, signature, and relevant documents in the specified formats and sizes. If any document or category proof is missing, it may be rejected during verification. Candidates should also regularly check for updates regarding participating institutions and available branches before the final choice submission. For assistance, they may visit nearby Common Service Centers (CSC) or Government Polytechnics. Document verification will be conducted online by designated centers in coordination with HSTES for the 2025–26 session.
Instructions for online registration: Candidates must apply online through the official portal at www.techadmissionshry.gov.in in accordance with the “Key Dates” specified in Appendix-I. A one-time registration portal will be available for all diploma courses for the 2025–26 session as per the given schedule. The registration fee for Diploma courses is ₹1000 for General category candidates and ₹700 for Reserved categories and female candidates. Merit lists will be prepared only for those applicants who have successfully paid the registration fee online and whose documents have been verified by the designated centers within the prescribed timeline. The results of seat allotment and merit for Diploma Engineering, Diploma Engineering (Lateral Entry), and Diploma Pharmacy courses will be published online in the candidate’s login on the official website. Additionally, two rounds of online off-campus counselling will be conducted for all diploma courses as per the schedule outlined in the Key Dates.
Instructions for Verification & Confirmation of Online Filled Application Form : While filling out the online application form, candidates must select a designated center (Government or Government-aided polytechnic within the state) for the verification and confirmation of their application, as listed in Appendix-II. Applicants are required to upload scanned copies of relevant documents, where applicable, in PDF format with a maximum size of 100 KB each. After submission, the concerned institute will verify the uploaded documents or may request additional documents via email if required, and upload them on the portal. A verification team at the designated center, consisting of two members (including at least one Group A or B officer), will review the documents and verify the candidate’s academic records and other details. Information fetched from the PPP ID database will remain non-editable unless the candidate submits an updated PPP ID at the selected center. The verification team will cross-check the details with the qualifying examination records, and in case of discrepancies, candidates must correct their PPP ID details and resubmit them before the verification deadline to avoid cancellation of admission. If corrections are made and re-verified, the updated PPP ID information will automatically reflect in the application form. For name corrections, candidates must first update their Aadhaar details through the UIDAI process, then update the PPP portal or visit a Common Service Center (CSC). Once the application is verified, confirmed, or rejected, candidates will receive notification via SMS or email. If any changes are made to marks during verification, previously filled choices will be deleted, and candidates must refill them. Seat allotment results and merit lists for Diploma Engineering, Diploma Engineering (Lateral Entry), and Diploma Pharmacy will be available online in the candidate’s login only for those applications that have been successfully verified and confirmed.
PROCEDURAL STEPS FOR REGISTERATION AND CHOICE FILLING FOR ALL DIPLOMA COURSES:
REPORTING OF THE CANDIDATES: After the declaration of the seat allotment result for a particular counselling round, candidates must download and print their provisional seat allotment letter from the official website. Following the first round of counselling, they are required to report to the allotted institute within the specified schedule mentioned in the allotment letter, carrying all necessary documents, certificates, testimonials, photographs, and login credentials. At the time of reporting, candidates must also deposit the prescribed one-semester fee. Once the institute verifies the documents and confirms fee payment, the candidate’s admission details will be uploaded to the HSTES portal. It is mandatory for the candidate to obtain a duly signed Provisional Admission Slip from the institute, signed by both the admission coordinator and the candidate. Failure to report to the allotted institute within the given reporting period will result in cancellation of the allotted seat; however, such candidates may still participate in subsequent counselling rounds, if available.
POST COUNSELLING INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE INSTITUTES: At the time of reporting for admission, the allotted institute will verify the candidate’s credentials by comparing the submitted details with the original certificates on the basis of which the seat has been allotted. If any information provided by the candidate is found to be false or incorrect, the admission will be cancelled immediately. The candidate’s identity will also be verified with the photograph available on the HSTES portal. Physical reporting must be completed in the presence of the candidate, with the institute confirming all required details through an online checklist as per the prescribed schedule. After successful verification and admission, the institute will issue a system-generated admission slip duly signed by both the admission coordinator and the candidate. Institutes are required to update all admissions and vacancy positions online within the specified key dates to facilitate further counselling rounds, and no admissions will be accepted beyond the final cut-off date. All admissions, including those under management quota, must strictly follow eligibility criteria and merit norms, and only reported candidates will be forwarded to HSBTE for registration. The institute must also submit the final list of admitted students along with relevant documents for verification. Any admission made after the deadline or in violation of rules will be considered invalid, and strict action may be taken against the institute, including restrictions on future admissions or even disaffiliation in case of repeated violations.

M. Pharm:
Eligibility Criteria: Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES) specifies that candidates seeking admission to the Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) program must have a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree from a recognized university or institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks (or 50% for reserved categories such as SC/ST). Candidates appearing in the final year of B.Pharm may also apply, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria at the time of admission. Preference is generally given to candidates with a valid GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) score, as merit preparation may include weightage to GPAT performance along with qualifying examination marks, as per HSTES guidelines.
