The College of Pharmaceutical Sciences has introduced  M.Pharm Courses since the academic session 2000-01. At present, the college is having  M.Pharm with specialization in pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical analysis & Quality assurance; along with B.pharm. This college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education ( A.I.C.T.E), Pharmacy Council of India (P.C.I.) , University Grants commission ( U.G.C) & Govt. of Orissa and Affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology ( B.P.U.T) , Rourkela.

Presently, this institution is located in a panoramic. Greenery & picturesque site with natural academic friendly environment at Mohuda, in very spacious land of 23 acres, which is around 7 kms from Berhampur town. Berhampur is on the Howrah-Chennai main line, which is well connected by rail & road. Bhubaneswar is the nearest Airport, which is around 170 kms by road/rail.

D.PHARM (02 YEARS)

To be eligible to apply for D.Pharm. course the applicant must

Have passed 10 +2 Science examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Bioscience/Life-science) and/or Mathematics from C.H.S.E., Odisha or any examination equivalent to it, approved by PCI. Candidates must have passed individually in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, both in theory as well as practical. Student of Vocational course& distance education/correspondence course are not eligible.

AGE -Be 17 years of age as on 31.12

Admission procedure

Admission procedure is divided into two categories, i.e., Government seat and Management seat. 

Availability of seats in Government & Private Pharmacy Colleges shall be notified separately: 85% of the seats of private institutions and all seats of Government institution (Pharmacy Wing, S.C.B. Medical College) will be available for State Quota and will be filled up by the counselling process.

 Rest 15% seats of private institutions will be available for the Management Quota and will be filled up by respective institutions. If any seats remain vacant after the counselling is over, the same will be filled up at institutional level by the respective management as per eligibility criteria.
