Swami Keshvanand Institute of Pharmacy (SKIP), Bikaner, was established in 2005 under the auspices of the Marudhar Education Society, is the first self-financed technical institute dedicated to pharmacy education in the Bikaner region. Situated on the NH‑11, Jaipur Road at Raisar, SKIP boasts a sprawling campus of 135 acres in sylvan surroundings. It is roughly 19 km from Bikaner Railway Station, 20 km from Bikaner Bus Stand, and about 17 km from Museum Circle. Affiliated with Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS), Jaipur, the college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).

Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS), was established in 2005 and headquartered in Jaipur, is a state university dedicated to improving medical and health education across Rajasthan. It affiliates numerous medical, dental, nursing, pharmacy, and paramedical colleges, ensuring standardized education and training in healthcare. The university focuses on academic excellence, research, and skill development to produce competent healthcare professionals who contribute to the advancement of medical sciences and public health services in the state.
Eligibility Criteria for (B. Pharm and D. Pharm): All Indian residents who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for RCA Pharmacy 2024 for admission to pharmacy colleges affiliated with the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS), Jaipur, a State Government Medical University. Admission will be granted based on the guidelines provided in the official information booklet, as well as the rules of **RUHS/Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and directives of the State Government or Honorable Court. Applicants must have passed the 10+2 examination or its equivalent with English, Physics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects, along with Biology and/or Mathematics. As per the PCI notification, candidates who have completed their 10+2 through open schooling with the above subjects are also eligible for admission to B. Pharm and D. Pharm courses.
Reservation: Seat reservation will be made in accordance with the statutory provisions of the Government of Rajasthan, applicable only to candidates with Rajasthan domicile. Candidates from reserved categories of other states will be considered under the unreserved category. Those claiming reservation benefits must present the relevant certificate (SC, ST, ST-STA, OBC Non-Creamy Layer, MBC Non-Creamy Layer, EWS) or additional category certificate (such as PwD, if applicable) issued by a competent authority at the time of joining the allotted college, along with attested copies. OBC/MBC candidates must submit the original Rajasthan State OBC/MBC certificate, clearly stating 'Non-Creamy Layer' and issued within one year of the RUHS Pharmacy Entrance Examination 2024-25. EWS candidates must produce the original EWS certificate valid for the financial year 2024-25, issued by a competent authority in Rajasthan. 5% of seats in each category shall be reserved horizontally for PwD candidates, based on Merit-cum-Priority, as per the guidelines outlined in Annexure 1. On the specified date, PwD candidates must present a valid PwD certificate issued by a competent authority for verification of physical disability by the Medical Board constituted by RUHS, Jaipur.
Domicile criteria: Admission to B. Pharm and D. Pharm courses through RCA Pharmacy 2024 is open to all residents of India; however, preference will be given to candidates with Rajasthan domicile.
FEE STRUCTURE: As per the directions of the State Govt. / State Level Fee Committee vide order no. P14(1)ME/Gr-I 2020, dated 22.06.2023, the fee structure for pharmacy courses for the session 2024-25 is as under:

CHOICE FILLING: To participate in the counselling process, candidates must fill in their preferred choices of course and college (in order of priority) and pay a non-refundable counselling fee of INR 550. Detailed guidelines for choice filling and online payment of the counselling fee will be made available on the official website in due course.
ADMISISON PROCEDURE: Admissions will be conducted strictly based on the merit list prepared from the scores obtained in the admission test and the order of choices/preferences submitted by candidates in the online application form. Candidates are strongly advised to exercise their choices carefully. Detailed instructions and guidelines regarding the admission test will be made available on the official RUHS website. The decisions taken by RUHS and the Admission Board will be final and binding on all candidates. Applicants are advised to regularly check the RUHS website (www.ruhsraj.org) for updates and important information related to the admission process.
Important Note: If, at any stage, it is discovered that an ineligible candidate has been granted admission, their admission will be cancelled immediately upon detection. Disciplinary or legal action may also be initiated against such candidates.
Allotment of college and course : The allotment of colleges and courses will be carried out strictly based on the candidate’s merit, the availability of seats in each course at each college, and the order of preferences submitted by the candidate in the online application form. The allotment process will include only those colleges and courses that have been finalized by RUHS for the admission and counselling process for the academic session 2024–25.
In case two or more candidates secure the same score in the admission test, the tie will be resolved in the following order of preference:
After the allotment of college and course, candidates will be notified through the RUHS website. It is the candidate’s responsibility to check the website, take a printout of the allotment letter/information, and report in person to the allotted college by the specified date, along with the printout, original documents, and the prescribed fee. Failure to check the website or to report on time will not be accepted as a valid reason for non-reporting, and such allotments will be automatically cancelled. Following Round 2 of counselling, once the Admission Board declares admissions open, any vacant or drop-out seats (i.e., allotted but not joined) in Government Universities or Departments will be filled by the Pharmacy Admission Board, including seats under the EWS supernumerary quota and the Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFWS). Similarly, vacant and drop-out seats in private self-financed pharmacy colleges (excluding EWS and TFWS supernumerary seats) will be filled by the respective colleges, as per their original sanctioned intake. However, all EWS and TFWS supernumerary seats including their vacant and drop-out seats shall be filled strictly by the Pharmacy Admission Board and not by the respective colleges under any circumstances.
