St.Mary's College of Pharmacy is Established in the year 2007 is a Catholic Christian Minority college managed by Hyderabad Archdiocese Educational society. (No. 1162 of 1983).The principal purpose of the society is to impart quality education in pharmacy irrespective of caste and creed.

Seat Distribution for Pharmacy Colleges

Seat distribution for Pharmacy courses in Andhra Pradesh approved by PCI (Pharmacy Council of India) (https://www.pci.nic.in/) and AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education) ( https://www.aicte-india.org ), New Delhi.

B.Pharm & Pharm. D : Admissions to the College are made along with the other Pharmacy Colleges in the State through a common entrance test (APEAMCET) (https://sche.ap.gov.in/ ) conducted by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh

  • 70% of the seats are allotted by the Convener, based on merit in the APEAMCET (A-Category).
  • 30% of the seats are earmarked for NRI/Management candidates (B-Category).

UGCandidate shall have passed 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects individually. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.
B. Pharm lateral entry UGThe minimum qualification for admission into second year of the B. Pharm course (Lateral Entry) is a pass in D. Pharm. course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act

  1. The candidate should have passed B. Pharm degree examination PCI recognized University with 50% (45% in case of SC/ST/ OBC candidates) aggregate marks.
  2. Selected candidate for admission to post graduate pharmacy program in any PCI approved institutions should have obtained registration with the State Pharmacy Council or should obtain the same within one month from the date of his/her admission
  3. It is mandatory to submit a migration certificate obtained from the respective University where the candidate had passed his/her qualifying degree (B. Pharm)
  • The candidate gets a chance to select the specializations like Pharmaceutical Analysis & Quality Assurance, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmacognosy, Industrial Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Technology, a and Biopharmaceutics, Drug Regulatory Affairs, Bulk Drugs, Medicinal Natural Products, Pharmaceutical Administration, Medicinal Chemistry, Drug Discovery and Development, Pharmaceutical Marketing Management, Phytopharmaceuticals, and Natural products, Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry as per the availability in the applying college.
