Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, is one of the 13 public sector universities of health sciences in the country and has been steadily establishing a strong reputation in medical education over the past few years. Eligibility Criteria:
B. Pharm: A candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination conducted by the respective State or Central Government authorities, or an equivalent examination recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology as optional subjects studied individually. Admission shall be granted on the basis of merit in three subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics. In cases where a candidate has studied both Mathematics and Biology, the subject with higher marks will be considered for the preparation of merit. Preference will be given to candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from the State of Punjab. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to the above examinations shall also be accepted.
D. Pharm: Candidates must have successfully completed the 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and either Biology or Mathematics as compulsory subjects. A minimum aggregate score typically around 50% is usually required. Some institutions may also specify an age criterion, generally with a minimum age between 14 and 17 years, depending on college or state regulations. Additionally, qualifying in an entrance examination may be required for admission.
RESERVATION (B. Pharmacy): The reservation will be made as per Reservation Policy of Govt. of Punjab, for which purpose, the institute has maintained 100 point roster. For the current Admission Session 2025-26, the distribution of seats is as under: -

GENERAL CONDITIONS (B. Pharmacy) :Students shall pay the fee and other charges for all categories of seats as prescribed and revised by the University from time to time. The number of seats may be increased or decreased by the University, and the final category-wise distribution of seats will be determined and displayed at the time of counselling. In case any seats remain vacant after the completion of admissions for candidates from Punjab State (i.e., those who have passed the qualifying examination from Punjab), the remaining seats shall be offered to candidates from other states. Candidates from other states shall be eligible to participate in the second round of counselling.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS AND PROCEDURE TO FILL ONLINE ADMISSION APPLICATION (B. Pharmacy):

| 12. | Lock your Application: To get printout of your online application form you have to lock your application. Once you lock your application you will not be able to edit your application data, so be ensured that you have entered correct data particularly check your Name, date of Birth, categories etc. before locking the application form. |
