Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Gujarat conduct counseling for Pharmacy and Other courses for admission 2025-26

The Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Gujarat, was established by the Government of Gujarat under the “Gujarat Professional Technical Educational Colleges or Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Fixation of Fees) Act, 2007” (Act No. 2 of 2008) to regulate the admission and fee-fixation processes for professional technical education in the state. Tasked with ensuring a fair, transparent and merit-based counselling process for admissions into degree and diploma professional courses, ACPC gives students the opportunity to secure seats in engineering, pharmacy, architecture, management and other allied disciplines strictly on the basis of their academic credentials and preferences.

Eligibility Criteria:

B. Pharm- Candidates must have completed 10+2 (Class 12) in the Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and either Mathematics or Biology as core subjects from a recognized board. Most institutions require a minimum aggregate of around 50%, though this percentage may vary depending on the institute's specific criteria. Additionally, admission is typically based on performance in a relevant entrance examination conducted at the state or university level.

Online Admission Process carried out by ACPC consists of three phases: The admission process, including online registration, will be conducted through the official website www.gujacpc.nic.in. The procedure involves the preparation and declaration of merit lists followed by online choice filling for course and institute selection. Candidates are strongly advised to visit the official websites regularly at least once a day to stay updated on the latest notifications, announcements, schedules, and activities related to the entire admission process.

Merit Declaration, Choice Filling and Admission Confirmation: After the registration process, ACPC will release the merit list of all eligible candidates. Candidates must verify their merit number and category as mentioned in their registration details. Once the merit list is declared, the online choice-filling process will begin. Candidates are advised to fill in the maximum number of available choices to improve their chances of securing admission. The first round of choice filling will be a mock round, allowing candidates to analyze the results and make necessary modifications or add more choices if they are unable to secure admission in the actual round. After the actual round of choice filling, ACPC will allot admissions based on merit and the choices submitted by the candidates. Those who wish to confirm their admission must pay the token fee through the online payment system. It is mandatory to download and print the online admission slip after paying the token fee to confirm the allotted admission.

Guideline for Cancellation of Admission and Fee Refund As per the prevailing Admission rule of State :

  1. Fee Refund Guideline During Online Admission Process: During the online admission process, if a candidate withdraws their confirmed admission through the ACPC online portal and follows the prescribed procedure for management seats, they are eligible for a full refund of the fees. Candidates must retain the withdrawal slip issued by the Admission Committee for the online admission process. Similarly, candidates withdrawing admission from management seats are required to keep the acknowledgement copy for their records.
  2. Fee Refund Guideline After Online Admission Process: After completion of the online admission process and before or during the admission process for vacant seats, if any candidate withdraws their admission, the fees paid will be refunded provided that the vacated seat is subsequently filled by the institution, in accordance with the directions of the Admission Committee and prevailing AICTE rules. However, if a candidate wishes to withdraw their admission after the completion of the vacant seat admission process, they must submit a written request in person to the respective college or institution, but no refund of fees will be granted in such cases. In the event of admission cancellation at the college or institute level upon the student’s request, the student shall be liable to pay the fees for the current semester only, and the institution shall not demand fees for any subsequent semesters.

M. Pharm eligibility Criteria- Candidates typically need a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy (B Pharm) with a minimum score of 45%–60%, depending on the institution. Some universities require applicants to qualify through entrance exams such as the GPAT, while others base admission on academic merit or include additional selection rounds like interviews or group discussions. Specific entry requirements including subject prerequisites (such as chemistry and biology/physics/mathematics) or minimum grade/point thresholds for international students can vary widely between universities.

Online Registration: Aspiring candidates must complete all the required steps of the admission process and pay the registration fees before the specified last date. Failure to do so will result in the application being considered incomplete, and such candidates will not be eligible to participate in any further stages of the admission process.

Apply For details: Eligible candidates must apply for the appropriate discipline(s) for which they qualify as per the eligibility criteria specified in Appendix–I of the Education Department, Government of Gujarat Notification No. GH/SH/26/2020/PVS/102020/242/S dated 30/06/2020 and its subsequent amendments. All eligible disciplines will be displayed on the registration page, and candidates may select as many disciplines as they wish from the eligible list. A registration fee of ₹1000 per selected discipline is applicable; for example, applying for two disciplines will require a fee of ₹2000, and so on in multiples of ₹1000. The registration fee is strictly non-refundable, so candidates must exercise caution while selecting the discipline(s), as no refund or modification will be allowed in case of any mistake or oversight. Furthermore, no additional disciplines can be added after successful completion of the registration process, and no correspondence regarding refund or modification will be entertained. Non-GATE/Non-GPAT candidates must appear for PGCET-2025 in each discipline they apply for, as per the prevailing eligibility rules. All Non-GATE ME/MTech candidates and all M. Pharm candidates are required to select their preferred PGCET-2025 examination center during online registration, and once selected, the examination center cannot be changed.

  1. If your passing status is Passed: Upload a single combined PDF file containing your degree certificate or provisional degree certificate along with the Semester VII and Semester VIII mark sheets. If the original mark sheets are not yet issued by the concerned university, a self-attested web/internet copy may be uploaded. In case the degree or provisional degree certificate has not been issued by the university, only the Semester VII and VIII mark sheets should be uploaded as a single combined file.
  2. If your passing status is appeared : If result of Sem VIII or backlog in previous semester is pending then upload scan copy of Sem VII marksheet only.
5.Freeship card/Income Certificate (only for SC/ST candidates applying as free ship card): Click button to upload scan copy of valid Freeship card or Income certificate.
6.EX/IN Service man (ESM) Certificate: Click the upload button and submit a scanned copy of the certificate issued by the Commanding Officer (for in-service personnel) or the District Sainik Welfare Board (for ex-servicemen).
7.GATE/GPAT Score Card (Only for GATE/GPAT Qualified candidates) : Click button and upload valid scan copy of GATE/GPAT score card.(Web copy is not allowed). GPAT 2025 candidates shall have to upload the copy of Admit card of GPAT 2025.
8.Sponsored category documents (Applicable Only for Sponsored Candidates) : Click button and upload, one combined scan file containing of experience certificate, Form 16 under IT Act, 1961 for last 2 years from the employer and Sponsorship letter (Standard format).

The initial round of choice filling will be a mock round, allowing candidates to analyze the results and modify or add choices accordingly before the actual round. During the actual round, ACPC will allot admissions based on the candidate’s merit and the choices filled. Candidates who wish to confirm their allotted admission must pay the token tuition fee through the online payment portal. It is mandatory to download and print the admission letter after successful payment of the token fee to confirm the allotted seat.
