The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) is a government body in Kerala responsible for conducting various professional entrance examinations and allotting seats for courses such as Engineering, Architecture, Pharmacy, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Siddha, Unani, Agriculture, Forestry, Veterinary, and Fisheries. It ensures a fair, transparent, and merit-based admission process through centralized counseling and seat allocation

D. Pharm–Diploma in Pharmacy (2 Years)

Candidate must have passed any of the following examinations with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics: Intermediate examination in Science first year of a three-year degree course in Science 10+2 examination (academic stream) in Science pre-degree examination or any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) as equivalent. Candidates must have completed 17 years of age on or before 31/12/2025 and there is no upper age limit for admission.

B. Pharm–Bachelor in Pharmacy (4 years )

Admission to the B. Pharm course is based on the marks secured in the Kerala Pharmacy Entrance Examination with the rank list prepared accordingly as per clause.

Eligibility:

  • For first year B. Pharm course the candidate must have passed 10+2 or PUC or Equivalent examination from recognized board or university with a cut-off percentage of 50% in PCB (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) or PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) as optional subjects individually.
  • Lateral entry to third semester (3 Years – 6 semesters) needs a person to have completed D. Pharm course from an institution approved by PCI & AICTE.
  • Medium of instruction and examination shall be in English.
  • should have completed 17 years of age on 31/12. No upper age limit for B. Pharm, Pharm. D & D. Pharm courses.

Online Submission of Application: Candidates seeking admission to MBBS, BDS, other Medical and Allied courses, B. Pharm, Engineering, and Architecture must apply online through the official website www.cee.kerala.gov.in by following the “KEAM-2025 Online Application” link. The application process involves five mandatory steps including entering required details and uploading necessary certificates and documents all of which must be completed before the last date specified. Detailed guidelines are available under the “How to Apply” section on the website and applicants are advised to check the site regularly for updates and notifications.

Step 1: Registration is a one-time process where candidates receive a system-generated Application Number and are required to create their own password preferably a strong one for secure online access. A strong password must have at least 8 characters including one alphabet (a-z or A-Z) one number (0-9) and one symbol (!@#$%^&*). The password must be re-entered for confirmation. Candidates should carefully note down all details provided at this stage for future logins.

Step 2: Fill Application requires candidates to enter all the basic information needed by the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, after carefully reading the Prospectus. The details provided will be used for processing the application and any false incomplete or incorrect information may affect eligibility for admission or reservation claims. All fields in the application must be filled without omission. Once the form is completed candidates can review their entries using the ‘Save & Preview’ option and after verifying accuracy must click the ‘Save & Finalize’ button to complete this step.

Note:- No modification of the application will be possible after clicking the ‘Save & Finalize’ button in step 2

Step 3: Application Fee – At this stage candidates are required to pay the application fee through the available online payment options.

Application Fee: Candidates who do not belong to SC/ST communities will be considered as ‘General’ category for the purpose of application fee. The application fee for candidates is as follows:

Step 4: Upload Images & Certificates – Candidates must upload a recent passport-size photograph and their signature in JPEG format as per the prescribed specifications. Along with this, all supporting certificates and documents related to the claims made in the application must be uploaded. Submission of nativity proof (as per clause 6) proof of date of birth and the SSLC or equivalent certificate is mandatory.

Note: If more than one document have to be uploaded for a single claim, all the documents should be converted into a single pdf file and uploaded.

Step 5: Print Application Acknowledgement Page: After completing Step 4, candidates must take a printout of the Application Acknowledgement page from the online portal for future reference. Applications should be complete in all respects, and candidates will be considered for the Entrance Examination or admission only if they have uploaded the required certificates as specified in the Prospectus, either as proof of eligibility or in support of any reservation claim.

The online application process will be considered complete only after uploading all required supporting documents and certificates. Candidates must keep a copy of the Application Acknowledgement page printout for future reference. The printout of the Acknowledgement page and supporting documents should not be sent to the Office of the CEE by post, e-mail, or in person. However, candidates must be prepared to produce all original documents for verification whenever required by the CEE or the admitting authority.

IMPORTANT: Documents or certificates submitted after the online application for Medical & Medical Allied, Engineering, Architecture, and B. Pharm courses will not be accepted under any circumstances and no chance will be given to add or update details once the application is submitted and relevant High Court rulings. Candidates qualified in the Engineering Entrance Examination must upload their final year qualifying exam mark list online through the CEE website by the notified date. Further the Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (for State Government Education purpose) Income Certificate and Community Certificate will be considered valid only if uploaded in the prescribed format along with the online application.

Rank list for admission to the B. Pharm course will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the Kerala Pharmacy Entrance Examination. If the exam is conducted in multiple sessions the scores will be normalized as per Prospectus Clause 9.4.4(i). The maximum score considered will be 300.

M. Pharm–Diploma in Pharmacy (2 Years)

The allotment to colleges, courses, and branches will be carried out through a Single Window Centralized Allotment Process, based on the options submitted online by the candidates. The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, will prepare the rank list and manage the entire online allotment procedure.

Eligibility: Candidates must have passed the B. Pharm Degree examination from any University in Kerala or from a University recognized by the Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur, as equivalent, from an institution approved by AICTE and the Pharmacy Council of India, with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in the second, third, and fourth years of B. Pharm. For service quota candidates, the minimum requirement is also 55%, while those with at least 5 years of professional experience after B. Pharm are eligible with 50%. Candidates belonging to SC/ST communities require a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Applicants who completed B. Pharm outside Kerala are eligible only if their qualification is recognized by KUHS before the deadline for academic data submission. Service quota applications must be forwarded through the Heads of the concerned Departments (DME/DHS/Drugs Controller). Additionally, every student admitted to the postgraduate pharmacy course must be registered with the State Pharmacy Council or obtain registration within one month of admission, failing which admission will be cancelled. There is no upper age limit for General Quota candidates, while service candidates should refer to Clause 8.1. All applicants must meet the eligibility criteria specified before the last date for submission of academic data.

Selection: The candidates including service quota candidates who qualified GRADUATEPHARMACY APTITUDE TEST (GPAT) in the year 2025 conducted by National Board of Examinations in Medical sciences (NBEMS), New Delhi are eligible for applying for Admission to the Post Graduate course in Pharmacy (M. Pharm) in the academic year 2025-2026.

How to Apply: Candidates qualified in GPAT 2025 and seeking admission to the courses must submit their application online through the official website of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations www.cee.kerala.gov.in.

Step-wise Procedure for Online Application: The online submission process consists of five mandatory steps, all of which must be completed by the candidate. Applicants should also keep a printout of the Application Acknowledgement page for future reference. To begin the process, candidates must visit the official website www.cee.kerala.gov.in and click on the link “M. Pharm 2025 – Online Application.”

Step 1: Registration – This is a one-time process where candidates must provide their GPAT-2025 Testing ID and Date of Birth (as given in the GPAT-2025 registration) to access the registration page. Candidates will then be asked to enter a valid mobile number and create a password. Upon successful registration, a system-generated unique Application Number will be provided, which must be carefully noted for use throughout the application and allotment process. Candidates are strongly advised to create a secure password with at least 8 characters, including one alphabet (a-z or A-Z), one number (0-9), and one special character (!@#$%^&*). The password must be re-entered for confirmation.

Step 2: Fill Application – At this stage, candidates must enter all the basic information required for processing the application, after carefully reading the Prospectus. The details provided will be used for admission, and any errors, false, incomplete, or incorrect information may lead to loss of eligibility or reservation claims. All mandatory fields must be filled with utmost care, ensuring accuracy before proceeding further. Once the application is completed, candidates can review the entered details using the ‘Save & Preview’ option. After verifying that all information is correct and true, they must click ‘Save & Finalize’ to complete this step.

Note: - No modification will be possible after the Final submission.

Step 3: Pay Application Fee – The application fee must be paid online using Internet Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card. Candidates should carefully follow the instructions provided on the website to ensure a successful transaction. Once the payment is completed, the system will redirect to the home page, where the ‘Pay Application Fee’ tab will turn green, allowing the candidate to proceed to the next step of uploading the photograph, signature, and supporting documents. If the transaction fails, an error message will appear, and the candidate can retry the payment. In cases where no confirmation (success or failure) is received due to communication issues, candidates should re-login and check the status of the ‘Pay Application Fee’ tab. If it has not turned green, the payment was unsuccessful, and the candidate must attempt the online payment again or use the e-Challan option. If an unsuccessful transaction results in the account being debited, the amount will be refunded within 10–12 working days.

Step 4: Upload Signature and Certificates – Candidates must upload a clear scanned image of their signature, written in black or blue ink on a plain white sheet. The scanned image should be cropped closely around the signature (not the entire sheet) and saved in JPG/JPEG format. The required dimensions are 150 pixels (width) × 100 pixels (height), and the file size must be between 10 KB and 30 KB.
Upload Documents/Certificates – Candidates must upload clear scanned copies of the original documents/certificates. The files should be in PDF format and must not exceed 500 KB in size.
Certificates/Documents to be Uploaded – Each required certificate must be scanned in colour from the original document and uploaded in PDF format.

Step 5: Print Application Acknowledgement Page – Once all the required certificates and documents are uploaded, candidates should generate and print the Application Acknowledgement Page along with the uploaded documents by clicking the ‘Print Application Acknowledgement Page’ link. This printout must be kept safely for future reference. Candidates do not need to send the acknowledgement page or any supporting documents to the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE).
