Bachelor of Pharmacy ( B. Pharma): 

CATEGORY I : The seats in the Government college

CATEGORY II : Government Quota seats available in the Self Financing Medical/ Dental/ Para Medical in Non-Minority Institutions in the ratio of 65:35 (Govt./Management) and for Minority Institutions 50:50 basis.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:-

For OC / BC / BCM / MBC / DNC Candidates : -

Pass in Higher Secondary Course with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Botany and Zoology or Mathematics not less than 40 % aggregate marks.

For SC / SCA / ST Candidates: -

Pass in Higher Secondary Course with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Botany and Zoology (or) Mathematics

Bachelor of Pharmacy ( B. Pharma) (lateral entry):-

10% of the total number of seats sanctioned for B.Pharm course are earmarked for B.Pharm (Lateral Entry) candidates both in Government and Self Financing Institutions.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:-

-For OC/BC/BCM/MBC/DNC CATEGORIES:- Candidates should have aggregate of 40% marks in the first and second year D.Pharm. Examination with a pass in H.S.C. 

                                            (or)

 Individual pass mark in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Botany & Zoology or Mathematics both in theory and practical with not less than 40% aggregate marks in the above subjects in the qualifying H.S.C. examination (Academic stream) with a pass in D.Pharm Course.

-For SC/SCA/ST CATEGORIES: Candidates must have obtained individual pass marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Botany & Zoology (or) Mathematics both in Theory & Practical with a minimum of 35% marks in the above subjects with a pass in D. Pharm Course.

M.Pharmacy (Master of Pharmacy)

1. M. PHARMACY:- M. PHARMACY COURSE IN TAMIL NADU GOVERNMENT MEDICAL COLLEGES AND GOVERNMENT SEATS IN SELF FINANCING PARAMEDICAL INSTITUTION AFFILIATED TO THE TAMILNADU Dr. M.G.R.MEDICAL UNIVERSITY.
2. Application for admission to M.Pharm course 2020-2021 session in Tamil Nadu Government Medical Colleges, Government seats in Self financing Medical Colleges affiliated to The Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University can be downloaded from websites www.tnhealth.tn.gov.in / www.tnmedicalselection.org .

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:-

-Candidates should possess a B.Pharmacy Degree awarded by The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University or any other University recognized as Equivalent there to by The TamilNadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University / Pharmacy Council of India. Candidates who have qualified from other universities should obtain and produce an Eligibility Certificate from The Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University at the time of admission, failing which they will not be considered for admission.

-Candidates seeking admission to the M.Pharmacy course should have obtained not less than 55% for OC, BC, BCM, MBC and 50% for SC, SCA and ST of the total marks obtained in all semester of subject marks taken together in the B.Pharmacy Course. In case of failure (s) the pass marks in the subsequent (attempts) shall be taken for calculation purpose. Number of attempts is not considered for calculation of marks.

-A candidate who has already completed or acquired a Postgraduate Degree in any branch of M.Pharmacy course or is undergoing a Postgraduate course in any branch of M.Pharmacy is not eligible to apply for any other branch in M.Pharmacy course.

CONDUCT OF EXAMINATIONS:-

• The Online Entrance Examination will be conducted only at Chennai.
• Candidates seeking admission should write the Tamil Nadu Post Graduate M.Pharmacy .
• Online Entrance Examination conducted by the Selection Committee.
• The online Entrance Examination will be of the undergraduate level covering all subjects and will contain 125 objective type questions each with four responses (A B C D) in English. Number of questions in each subject.
• Each question will carry 1 (one) Mark. There will be NO NEGATIVE MARK for incorrect responses. Zero mark will be given for questions not answered. When more than one answer is indicated or when it is illegible, no mark will be awarded for that question. The Maximum marks will be computed to 90 .

DECLARATION OF RESULTS:-
