Geethanjali College of Pharmacy, Keesara, Hyderabad is established in the academic year 2007 by Teja Educational Society, Hyderabad with the motto of providing quality Pharmacy education to the students. College is located in Cheeryal village in Keesara Mandal, Ranga Reddy District of Andhra Pradesh. The college is approved by AICTE, recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), and affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad, offering a wide range of programs including Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm), Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Admission Process of Geethanjali College of Pharmacy, Keesar Conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH)

Seat distribution for Pharmacy courses in Telangana affiliated to JNTU( https://jntuh.ac.in)and PCI (Pharmacy Council of India) (https://www.pci.nic.in/) and AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education) ( https://www.aicte-india.org ), New Delhi.

Age:

Candidates should have completed 16 years of Age by the date of commencement of Admissions or on such other date as may be notified by the CET Committee. There is no upper age limit.

B. Pharm–Bachelor in Pharmacy (4 years – 8 semesters)
Eligibility:

  • Candidate should have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology optional, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana or any other examination recognized by the University as equivalent thereto.
  • Candidates should have completed 16 years of Age by the date of commencement of Admissions or on such other date as may be notified by the CET Committee.
  • Lateral entry to third semester (3 Years – 6 semesters) needs a person to have completed D. Pharm course from an institution approved by PCI & AICTE.

Admission Process:

The admission procedure is divided into two categories: Government seats and Management seats.

The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) conducts the TS EAPCET counseling for admissions to pharmacy programs. JNTU Hyderabad is responsible for the online counseling process.

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad will be doing Counseling for 100% seats for Government Colleges, and 70% seats for private colleges as per rank secured in TGEAPCET ( Telangana Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test ) entrance examination https://tgeapcet.nic.in/default.aspx. The remaining 30% of seats, known as the Management Quota, are filled by the respective colleges.

Pharm. D (Doctor of Pharmacy):

Eligibility:

For Pharm –D Course (50% seats for M.P.C and 50% seats for Bi. P.C. candidates):

  • Candidates must have passed their 10+2 (intermediate) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
  • Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree from a Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) recognized institution.

Admission Process:

For admission to the professional course like Pharm. D, the State Government conducts an entrance exam called TGEAPCET every year in the month of April/ May. The students are given ranks based on the marks obtained in the test and the percentage of marks at the intermediate level (Bi.P.C)/M.P.C or 10 + 2 level.

70% of seats are filled through the TGEAPCET rank by the Convenor, and 30% seats are filled by the management, based on merit at the Intermediate or as per the State government-prescribed rules from time to time.

Admissions to the College are made along with the other Pharmacy Colleges in the State through a common entrance test (TGEAPCET) ( https://tgeapcet.nic.in/default.aspx ) conducted by the Govt of Telangana.

Pharm. D (Doctor of Pharmacy) Post-Baccalaureate:

Eligibility:

  1. B.Pharm degree from a PCI-recognized institution is the primary requirement.
  2. Candidates need to have secured at least 50% marks in their B.Pharm degree.

Admission Process:

M. Pharm(Master of Pharmacy)- 2 years- 4 semesters:

Eligibility:

  1. The candidate should have passed B. Pharm degree examination PCI recognized University with 50% (45% in case of SC/ST/ OBC candidates) aggregate marks.
  2. Selected candidate for admission to post graduate pharmacy program in any PCI approved institutions should have obtained registration with the State Pharmacy Council or should obtain the same within one month from the date of his/her admission
  3. It is mandatory to submit a migration certificate obtained from the respective University where the candidate had passed his/her qualifying degree (B. Pharm).
  4. Admission to the PGPs shall be made subject to eligibility, qualification and specializations prescribed by the University from time to time, for each specialization under each M.Pharm. programme.
  5. Admission to the post graduate programme shall be made on the basis of either the merit rank or Percentile obtained by the qualified student in the relevant qualifying GPAT Examination/ the merit rank obtained by the qualified student in an entrance test conducted by Telangana State Government TS PGECET for M.Pharm. programmes.

Admission Process:

The candidate gets a chance to select the specializations like Pharmaceutical Analysis & Quality Assurance, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmacognosy, Industrial Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Technology, a and Biopharmaceutics, Drug Regulatory Affairs, Bulk Drugs, Medicinal Natural Products, Pharmaceutical Administration, Medicinal Chemistry, Drug Discovery and Development, Pharmaceutical Marketing Management, Phytopharmaceuticals, and Natural products, Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry as per the availability in the applying college.

Admissions to the College are made along with the other Pharmacy Colleges in the state through a common entrance test (TG PGECET https://pgecet.tgche.ac.in/ /GPAT https://gpat.nta.nic.in/ )

  • 70% of the seats are allotted by the Convener, based on merit in the (A-Category).
  • 30% of the seats are earmarked for NRI/Management candidates (B-Category).

Reservation Policy:

  • SC: Scheduled Castes typically have a reservation of 15%.
  • ST: Scheduled Tribes typically have a reservation of 6%.
  • BC: Backward Classes are further divided into sub-categories (BC-A, BC-B, BC-C, BC-D, and BC-E), with varying percentages totaling 29%.
  • EWS: Economically Weaker Sections have a reservation of 10%.
  • Women: A horizontal reservation of 33 1/3% of seats is provided for women candidates in each category.

Who Can Apply:

Candidates who had qualified in TGEAPCET-2025 and secured 45% (for OC) and 40% (for Others) in group subjects of Intermediate or its equivalent examination.

  • Register by entering
  • Registration Number given on the TGEAPCET-2025 Hall Ticket.
  • Date of Birth as mentioned in the SSC Marks Memo.
  • Hall Ticket Number of Intermediate or its equivalent.
  • The Basic Information Form is displayed. Enter the details of Aadhar, Mobile Number, and Email ID and also fill the details of Caste Certificate and Income Certificate and EWS application Number issued by MeeSeva, if applicable. Change of mobile number is not permitted.
  • Update the information and pay the Processing Fee of Rs 600/- (for SC/ST) and Rs. 1200/- (for Others) through online payment (Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking) / T-Wallet.

  1. TGEAPCET-2025 Rank Card.
  2. TGEAPCET-2025 Hall Ticket.
  3. Aadhar Card.
  4. S.S.C. or its equivalent Marks memo.
  5. Intermediate or its equivalent Memo-Cum-Pass Certificate.
  6. VI to Intermediate or its equivalent Study Certificates.
  7. Transfer Certificate (T.C).
  8. Income Certificate issued on or after 01-01-2025 by the competent authority, if applicable.
  9. EWS Income and Asset Certificate issued by the Tahsildar, valid for the year 2025-26, if applicable.
  10. Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority, if applicable.
  11. Residence Certificate of the candidate for 7 years preceding to qualifying examination in case where the candidate has no institutionalized education.
  12. In respect of Non-Local candidates, to consider them for allotment under unreserved seats the following certificates needs to be submitted.
