Ph.D: The college is recognized as Research Centre by Osmania University to do Ph.D course in Pharmacy subjects.There are five Doctorate Professors who are recognized as Ph.D supervisors by Osmania University. They are also recognized by JNTUH and many other universities to guide Ph.D

Admission & Procedure: The admission into Ph.D (Full Time & Part Time) is done by the Osmania University, The university conducts an entrance test called “Ph.D Entrance Exam” every year or once in two years depending upon the vacancies available & other reasons. The Ph.D entrance exam qualified candidates will be called for interview by the “Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy, University College of Technology,Osmania University”. In the interview the academics & students performance are recorded and merit list is prepared and following the rules of reservation. The Ph.D admission committee finalizes the list of candidates depending upon vacancies available with the recognized supervisors. The list of selected candidates will be send to the University for Approval.

D. Pharm 2 years	Diploma	For Diploma in Pharmacy, the student should have passed 10+2 or Intermediate exam with Science as a subject First-year of Three year Degree course in Science Pre-degree examination Any other qualification approved by the PCI. The medium of instruction shall be in English. The examination is conducted by the Board of Examination Authority of the state. It is a basic level Certificate program where Diploma Certification is awarded.
B. Pharm 4 years	UG	Candidate shall have passed 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects individually. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.
B. Pharm lateral entry	UG	The minimum qualification for admission into second year of the B. Pharm course (Lateral Entry) is a pass in D. Pharm. course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act
Pharm. D 6 years	UG	A pass in 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Mathematics or Biology. A pass in D. Pharm course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy council of India under section 12 of The Pharmacy Act.
Pharm.D. (Post Baccalaureate) 3 years		A pass in B. Pharm from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.
M. Pharm 2 years	PG	The candidate should have passed B. Pharm degree examination PCI recognized University with 50% (45% in case of SC/ST/ OBC candidates) aggregate marks. Selected candidate for admission to post graduate pharmacy program in any PCI approved institutions should have obtained registration with the State Pharmacy Council or should obtain the same within one month from the date of his/her admission It is mandatory to submit a migration certificate obtained from the respective University where the candidate had passed his/her qualifying degree (B. Pharm) The candidate gets a chance to select the specializations like Pharmaceutical Analysis & Quality Assurance, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmacognosy, Industrial Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Technology, a and Biopharmaceutics, Drug Regulatory Affairs, Bulk Drugs, Medicinal Natural Products, Pharmaceutical Administration, Medicinal Chemistry, Drug Discovery and Development, Pharmaceutical Marketing Management, Phytopharmaceuticals, and Natural products, Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry as per the availability in the applying college.
Ph.D	Doctoral	A candidate who has obtained a Masters's degree from a University recognized as equivalent securing not less than 50% of the aggregate marks prescribed for the examination, and passed the entrance examination for the Ph.D. degree course, shall be eligible for admission to the Ph. D Degree Course. A candidate with an M. Phil Degree of this University or any other University recognized as equivalent thereto in the concerned or cognate subject shall also be eligible for admission to the Ph. D Degree course, after passing the entrance examination as prescribed.
