B. Pharmacy Eligibility Criteria : Candidates must have passed the Class 12 examination under the (10+2) education system from a recognized board, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology/Biotechnology as the three compulsory subjects. A minimum of 45% aggregate marks in these three subjects is required for candidates from the Unreserved category, and 40% marks for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) of Chhattisgarh. It is mandatory to pass each of the three main subjects separately, in both theory and practical examinations, as per the rules of the respective board. Additionally, English must be one of the subjects in Class 12 for eligibility to the B. Pharmacy program.
Reservation for Admission: The reservations for admission to the Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharmacy) programs shall be asper the reservation related provisions prevailing in the State of Chhattisgarh asper the law at the time of admission to this program.
Management and Minority quota in seats for admission: There shall be 15 percent seats under management quota in private institutions. 50 percent seats shall be reserved for minority candidates in private institutions which are declared Minority Institutions by the Scheduled Tribal and Scheduled Caste Development Department of Government of Chhattisgarh.
Merit Lists
(a) The following merit lists shall be prepared for admission under these rules -
(b) Among the candidates who obtain the same percentage of marks, the candidates who are older in age shall be placed higher in the merit list.
Counselling- Counselling for allotment of seats shall be done through online process. A counselling committee shall be constituted by the government for counselling work. The non-refundable fee prescribed by the government for counselling shall be deposited online by the candidates.
Order of seat allotment: For admission to B. Pharmacy Program- Allotment of seats for admission to the B. Pharmacy program shall be done first to the candidates who are domicile of Chhattisgarh, according to the merit list of Clause (a) of Sub-Rule1 of Rule 6, and even after that if seats are left vacant, then their allotment shall be done to the candidates from outside the State of Chhattisgarh according to the merit list of Clause (a) of Sub-Rule 1 of Rule 6.
Examination and Verification of the documents and Admission in the Institution:
D. Examination and Verification of the documents and Admission in the Institution:
M. Pharmacy Eligibility Criteria : Passed Four-year Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent degree with at least 55 percent marks for unreserved category candidates and 50 percent marks for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and Persons with Disability of Chhattisgarh.
Reservation for Admission: The reservations for admission to the M. Pharmacy program shall be as per the reservation related provisions prevailing in the State of Chhattisgarh, as per the law at the time of admission to this program.
Management and Minority quota in seats for admission:
Counselling: The allotment of seats will be conducted through an online counselling process. A Counselling Committee will be constituted by the Government to oversee the counselling procedure. Candidates must pay the non-refundable counselling fee, as prescribed by the Government, through online mode.
Merit Lists: As per these rules, the merit list shall be prepared in descending order based on the percentage of marks obtained in the G.P.A.T. examination. In the case of candidates securing the same percentage of marks, the candidate with the higher age shall be given preference and placed higher in the merit list.
Order of seat allotment: Seat allotment for admission to the M. Pharmacy program shall first be made to candidates who are domiciles of Chhattisgarh, based on the merit list prepared under Rule 6. If seats remain vacant after allotting to eligible domicile candidates, the remaining seats shall then be offered to candidates from outside the State of Chhattisgarh, also in accordance with the merit list under Rule 6.
