The Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Gujarat, was established by the Government of Gujarat under the “Gujarat Professional Technical Educational Colleges or Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Fixation of Fees) Act, 2007” (Act No. 2 of 2008) to regulate the admission and fee-fixation processes for professional technical education in the state. Tasked with ensuring a fair, transparent and merit-based counselling process for admissions into degree and diploma professional courses, ACPC gives students the opportunity to secure seats in engineering, pharmacy, architecture, management and other allied disciplines strictly on the basis of their academic credentials and preferences.
Eligibility Criteria:
B. Pharm- Candidates must have completed 10+2 (Class 12) in the Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and either Mathematics or Biology as core subjects from a recognized board. Most institutions require a minimum aggregate of around 50%, though this percentage may vary depending on the institute's specific criteria. Additionally, admission is typically based on performance in a relevant entrance examination conducted at the state or university level.
D. Pharm- Candidates must have completed your 10+2 (Class 12) in the science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics. A minimum aggregate percentage of 45-50% is typically required, though specific marks can vary by institution. The minimum age for admission is generally 17 years.
Online Admission Process carried out by ACPC consists of three phases: The admission process, including online registration, will be conducted through the official website www.gujacpc.nic.in. The procedure involves the preparation and declaration of merit lists followed by online choice filling for course and institute selection. Candidates are strongly advised to visit the official websites regularly at least once a day to stay updated on the latest notifications, announcements, schedules, and activities related to the entire admission process.

Merit Declaration, Choice Filling and Admission Confirmation: After the registration process, ACPC will release the merit list of all eligible candidates. Candidates must verify their merit number and category as mentioned in their registration details. Once the merit list is declared, the online choice-filling process will begin. Candidates are advised to fill in the maximum number of available choices to improve their chances of securing admission. The first round of choice filling will be a mock round, allowing candidates to analyze the results and make necessary modifications or add more choices if they are unable to secure admission in the actual round. After the actual round of choice filling, ACPC will allot admissions based on merit and the choices submitted by the candidates. Those who wish to confirm their admission must pay the token fee through the online payment system. It is mandatory to download and print the online admission slip after paying the token fee to confirm the allotted admission.
